1. The sauna is intended for persons over 16 years of age; children under 16 years of age may not use the sauna. Out of respect for other guests as well as for your own protection, please lie down on a towel to avoid contact of your sweaty body with the wooden benches. Slippers and bathrobes should be left outside at the entrance to the sauna; DO NOT leave clothes or towels in the sauna to prevent a fire.
2. The sauna is an electrical device; therefore, please do not place stones, newspapers or any other flammable material on top.
3. The flavored oil in the sauna is only put in the water in the bowl and this is poured on the stones! NEVER POUR OIL DIRECTLY ON THE STONES! IT CAN BE TOXIC! Ask the SPA staff for the flavor of your choice.
4. Prolonged exposure in saunas can cause nausea, dizziness and fainting. A reasonable time to use a sauna is 10 minutes and it is recommended not to exceed 20 minutes.
5. Specialists do not recommend the use of saunas by people with one of the following health problems – CONTRAINDICATIONS: pregnant women / Low or high blood pressure / Severe cardiovascular or bronchopulmonary diseases / Under the influence of alcoholic beverages, anticoagulants, antihistamines, antihistamines, vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulants, narcotics or tranquilizers
6. People who feel dizzy or faint should leave the sauna immediately.
7. Do not use the sauna immediately after an intense workout or strenuous activity.
8. All metal jewelry (gold, silver, etc.) must be removed before entering the sauna; including contact lenses.
9. For proper hygiene, showering is mandatory before, after or between saunas. Once you are dry, you can go into the sauna. If you use the swimming pool, shower before each sauna session.
10. After each sauna session, cool off in one of the showers to get your body temperature back to normal and get the blood moving.
11. A few moments of relaxation (10-15 min) are recommended between the saunas after each entry.
12. Hydration is very important: saunas will make you sweat, so you will lose a lot of water. We recommend drinking water before and especially after the sauna.
