Recreation in Azuga

Azuga resort offers countless recreational opportunities, both in winter and summer:

Hiking on 9 mountain hiking trails, from very easy to very difficult, in the Bucegi and Baiului Mountains

For skiing, there are 6 ski slopes up to 2100 meters long, which winter sports enthusiasts can make the most of every winter day. Modern facilities are present on all slopes, including a gondola lift inaugurated in 2007.

The organized slopes in Azuga are:
1. Sorica: length 2100m, medium difficulty, level difference 561m, night lighting and snow cannons
2. Cazacu: length 1920m, medium difficulty, level difference 530m
3. Waterfall variant: 400m long, medium difficulty, artificial snow
4. Cazacu bretea: length 715m, difference in level 163m
5. Sorica Sud – length 770m, easy
6. La Stână – length 910m, easy

Other cross-country ski runs, as well as a snowboard trail, located in the vicinity of the Cazacu slope, total 10km.

There are mountain biking and off-road ATV trails through the forest.
